On Wednesday, the House Education and the Workforce Committee held a bill markup for the Strengthening Career and Technical Education for the 21st Century Act, of which I am a co-sponsor.
Career and Technical Education (CTE) helps to decrease student loan debt and provides students with real-world skills needed to compete for jobs that already exist in our local communities.
In Wisconsin, we have a great technical college system. By giving states more flexibility when using federal funds to support CTE programs, we can emulate Wisconsin's success across the country.
