Service Academies Nomination Deadline Nominating young people from the Sixth District for our nation's service academies is one of the best parts of my job. The deadline to apply for a service academy nomination through my office is this Friday, Oct. 13.  If you're interested in applying for a nomination to the U.S. Military Academy (West Point), the U.S. Naval Academy, the U.S. Air Force Academy or the U.S. Merchant Marine Academy, please visit my website to fill out an application before Friday. Please note that the U.S. Coast Guard Academy does not require a congressional nomination for appointment. I wish all applicants the best of luck as they seek to attend one of the U.S. service academies and serve our country!
