| Today, I visited the Jewish Community Center (JCC) in Whitefish Bay with some of my fellow lawmakers from both sides of the aisle. In the wake of last week’s bomb threats against the center, it’s important to let our local Jewish community know that we will not stand for anti-Semitism.
We talked with families, were led in a sing-along by the children at the center and spoke out against violence towards those of Jewish faith. The JCC does so much to reach every individual in its community, and to think that there are people who would threaten such an institution is truly horrible.
President Trump has denounced such attacks. It's truly refreshing to have an administration that is so friendly towards the Jewish community. We stand with the JCC, and it's extremely important that the FBI track down the people making these threats sooner rather than later.
