Happy Independence Day!

I spent this week at home attending Independence Day celebrations, visiting local businesses and factories and meeting folks from around the 6th District.

The 4th of July is one of my favorite times of the year. No other place does Independence Day quite like the Sixth District, and I enjoy going to all the events in the area.

Today, I will be making stops in Sheboygan, Cedarburg, Manitowoc, Omro, Knowles, Campbellsport and Green Lake. I hope you can make it out to see me!

I visited Penda Corp. in Portage, which makes automotive products like truck bed liners and tool storage containers, to talk about ways we can close the skilled labor gap and provide more affordable health care to workers.

Thanks to Citizens Climate Lobby for stopping into my Fond du Lac office to discuss clean energy such as solar and natural gas.
