Health Resources for Veterans
As your Member of Congress, I have been working to ensure veterans receive the proper care they have earned by serving and sacrificing for this country. That is why I applaud this week's sorely-needed order, signed by President Trump, to improve mental health resources for veterans transitioning from active duty to civilian life.

Read more about it here.

Tune In!
On Sunday, I will be on "UpFront with Mike Gousha". I am looking forward to discussing Congress' 2017 achievements, tax reform and the issues of the day.

You can see UpFront Sundays at 9 a.m. on WISN, 9:30 a.m. on WKOW and WAOW, 10 a.m. on WBAY and 5:30 p.m. on WXOW and WQOW.

Social Security Update
As we move forward with 2018 and families across America begin to see the benefits provided by the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act, people in the workforce will find their witholding levels reduced- putting more money in their pockets.

If you receive Social Security, you may need to manually change your withholding on form W-4V. This is just a notice that you might need to act.

I, along with several colleagues, sent a letter to the Social Security Administration encouraging them to send notices to all Americans currently receiving benefits alerting them to these changes, and the options available to them.
