Disaster Relief, Government Funding and the Debt Ceiling

Today, I voted for a bill that provides disaster relief funds, funds the government and raises the debt ceiling for the next three months.

At this point in time, it's important we keep the federal government up and running to continue relief funding to Houston and prepare for the impact of Hurricane Irma in Florida and the Southeast.

Congress will take up the debt ceiling and government funding debate again in December. When we do, it's important we take serious action on cutting government spending and reducing the deficit.

Rescheduled Town Halls

My rescheduled Mt. Calvary and Beaver Dam town halls will now be on Sun. Sept. 17, 2017.

The locations and times are as follows:
