Oshkosh UPS Distribution Center

This week, I traveled to Oshkosh, Oostburg and Grafton to speak with several different organizations and businesses.

Today, I visited the UPS distribution center in Oshkosh to speak with the drivers and learn more about what makes the UPS operations at this facility so efficient.

After speaking with the drivers, I had the opportunity to ride along with driver Mark Leafgren on his route from Oshkosh to Neenah. It was a great experience.Thank you to UPS for the enjoyable and informative day.

Lakeside Packaging Plus Dinner

Lakeside Packaging Plus in Oshkosh, a nonprofit that provides meaningful projects and employment opportunities for individuals with a wide array of abilities, held a dinner for its workers on Thursday. I enjoyed attending and speaking with the people who make this organization so successful.

Oostburg Kiwanis Club

Last week, I was a guest speaker at the Oostburg Noon Kiwanis Club. It was great to speak with the members about my work on the Oversight and Government Reform Committee, the Workforce and Education Committee, the Budget Committee and the Joint Economic Committee.

Grafton Chamber of Commerce

On Tuesday night, I attended a welcome reception hosted by the Grafton Chamber of Commerce in honor of new Village Administrator Jesse Thyes and new School Superintendent Jeff Nelson. I know the Grafton community will continue to thrive under their leadership.
