Last Friday was National Manufacturing Day. In celebration, I visited two manufacturing facilities in the Sixth District.

I toured Kondex in Lomira and Waukesha Metal Products in Grafton on Friday. At Waukesha, I also spoke to middle school students about career opportunities in manufacturing.

Around the Sixth District

On Monday, I joined employees at Alliant Energy to break ground on Columbia Energy Center's selective catalytic reduction system, which will improve air quality at one of Alliant's largest generating stations.

On Tuesday, I attended the Beaver Dam Chamber Networking Breakfast. After the breakfast, I toured Mayville’s Metalcraft factory and spoke with employees at the facility.
