Town Halls This Week

Thanks to everyone in Fox Crossing, Vinland, Sheboygan Falls, Kiel and Greenbush who joined me this week for town hall meetings. I believe that one of the most important parts of my job as a public servant is knowing what issues are important to you. These town hall meetings are one of the best ways I can make sure your voice and our Wisconsin values are being heard in Washington.

Congressional Art Competition- People's Choice!

Last month, I began accepting entries for the 2019 Artistic Discovery Competition.

The Artistic Discovery competition is open to all high school students in Wisconsin’s Sixth District. The winner will have his or her artwork displayed in the U.S. Capitol for one year in an exhibit that features winners from other congressional districts across the U.S.

Works of art entered in the contest may be up to 26” x 26” x 4”, including the frame, and can be made in the style of painting, drawing, collage, print, mixed media, computer generated art or photography. All entries must be original in concept, design and execution.

Yesterday, I opened the first "People's Choice" competition on my Facebook Page. The People's Choice award will go to the work of art that receives the most "likes" on Facebook. Please visit my page to vote!

Weekly Roundup

Plymouth Foam specializes in creating foam material for an array of uses, such as protective foam, packaging foam, insulation and structural foam.

I’m glad I was able to meet with the Fond du Lac school district special education team to find out how I can better serve the community as a member of the House Education and Labor Committee.

I had a great meeting with District Attorney Eric Toney and Sheriff Ryan Waldschmidt about the issues facing Fond du Lac County.
