Keystone XL Pipeline

On Tuesday, President Trump signed an executive order allowing for the construction of the Keystone XL pipeline.

I’ve been an advocate for the Keystone XL pipeline since coming to Congress, and this project is just one example of what we can accomplish when we have a president who listens to Congress.

This project will expand our local economies, improve our national infrastructure and invest in American workers.

Pro-Life Victories

On Monday, President Trump reinstated the Mexico City Policy to prevent taxpayer dollars from funding abortions in other countries.

Congress voted to prevent government-wide taxpayer funding of abortions on Tuesday by making the Hyde Amendment – an amendment that must be passed every year to prevent tax-payer dollars from being used for abortions in certain government programs like Medicaid – permanent. We also voted to ensure that the Affordable Care Act adheres to the Hyde Amendment, which is something that it currently does not have to do. For more information about this, please click here.

Today, thousands are attending the March for Life in D.C.  I support all those who are marching on behalf of the unborn, and I want to thank Vice President Pence for being the first vice president to attend the March for Life. The Trump Administration is already steering America back in pro-life direction.
