Around Wisconsin's Sixth District
This week I was working from Wisconsin, which gave me the opportunity to tour many of our local small businesses and factories, as well as meet with local chambers and community organizations.

Crucible Metal Solutions in Menasha specializes in foundry tooling, prototyping, casting and machining needs.

Yamato invited me to tour its Mequon facility as it celebrates 20 years of building packaging and weighing machines in America. Congratulations, Yamato!

I also enjoyed a tour of Titan Spine in Mequon. Titan Spine is an industry leader in the medical device field, and I was interested to talk with them more about their recent successes and new technologies.

Thank you to the Grafton Area Chamber for inviting me to attend its luncheon. It was a great opportunity to connect with local businesses.

Thanks to My Interns and Farewell to Bernadette!
We have three wonderful interns working in our Washington, D.C. office this semester. If you call my office, you'll most likely speak to Dalton, Becca or -- all the way from Australia with his university's study abroad program -- Taylor. Thank you for your hard work, Dalton, Becca and Taylor!

Earlier this week, the interns climbed to the top of the Capitol dome to admire the views and learn more about the history of the building.

Bernadette Green has been my communications director since May 2016, and today is her last day in my D.C. office. We'll miss her (and Office Dog Todd), but we wish Bernadette all the best on her new adventure. You'll always be a part of Team Grothman, Bernadette!
