This Week in the 6th Congressional District:

Ripon College Visit
This week, I traveled around the Sixth District speaking to residents about my priorities under the new administration.

My first stop was Ripon College on Tuesday, where I spoke to political science students American politics and the government.

Westfield Senior Lunch
I enjoyed speaking with seniors in Westfield about immigration policies, Obamacare and my committee assignments for the 115th Congress during a lunch event on Thursday.

Lomira Warrior House
I was honored to speak at the opening of the Warrior House in Lomira. Salute the Troops, an organization dedicated to bettering the lives of Wisconsin veterans, will use the Warrior House to provide transitional housing for homeless veterans.

The veterans will perform household chores and community service in exchange for room and board, as well as assistance with employment, education enrollment and counseling.

The community of Lomira worked together to donate furniture and renovation time to the project.

Lakeshore Technical College
Today, I was happy to tour Lakeshore Technical College. Seeing the manufacturing, health and automotive labs lets me know that Wisconsin residents are ready to fill these high-demand jobs.
