Congress' First 100 Days
The U.S. House of Representatives recently reached our first 100 days of the 115th Congress.

We've had big victories -- like passing the American Health Care Act -- and we've been productive in other ways as well:

-The 115th Congress passed 103 bills to make it the most productive Congress during the first 100 days of a new presidency in 30 years.

-President Trump has signed 30 new laws in the first 100 days -- two times the amount President Obama signed during his first 100 days.

-We have overturned 14 Obama-era regulations so far this Congress, saving Americans $3.7 billion in regulatory costs and 4.2 million hours in paperwork.

As we pass 100 days, this Congress will continue to work hard on behalf of our constituents.

Department of Education Information
Whether you’re already in college or planning to start college this fall, the Department of Education website can be a valuable resource for information and tools regarding financing a college education.

The website provides the information needed to apply for a student loan, as well as FAFSA deadlines, which can be checked by entering your state of legal residence and the school year for which you are applying for student aid.

Memorial Day
On Monday, we remembered the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice for our freedom.

Wisconsin's Sixth District had many wonderful ceremonies to commemorate our lost service members. I was honored to speak at the Memorial Day ceremony in the town of Rhine.

Happy Birthday, Wisconsin!
Monday also marked Wisconsin's 169th birthday. Our state was the 30th state admitted to the Union on May 29, 1848.

Happy birthday, Wisconsin! I'm proud to call you home.
