Memorial Day is a time to remember all those lost fighting for freedom in America and throughout the world. I want to thank those brave men and women and their families for sacrificing so much so the rest of us can enjoy the the land of the free and the home of the brave.
I hope you had a safe, respectful Memorial Day weekend.

We had a big health care win this week. On Wednesday, Senator Ron Johnson's bipartisan “Right to Try” bill was signed into law by President Trump. "Right to Try" will allow terminally ill patients who have exhausted all other treatment options the opportunity to try medications that have passed basic Food and Drug Administration (FDA) safety protocols, but have not received final approval for public use. The law will not require any individual to participate in the program, but instead give those with no other options one last chance.
