Town Hall Meetings
Thanks to everyone that came out to my town hall meetings this week in Wild Rose, Hancock, Saukville and Cedar Grove. It was great to see all of you!

Hearing from residents in the 6th district is a vital part of my job. That's why I appreciate everyone who was able to make it.

Stay tuned into to my E-newsletter for updates on my next town hall meetings.

Thank You, Veterans
Wednesday was the 237th anniversary of the Purple Heart. My heartfelt thanks goes out to all of the men and women, and their families, who have sacrificed to much to defend our freedom around the world. On Wednesday, we recognized the wounded warriors and thanked them for their service, but we should be thankful each day to everyone who puts on a uniform to protect the United States of America.

Social Media
Thank you for subscribing to my weekly E-newsletter. Each week, I enjoy sending you updates on my work, whether it's from a committee hearing in Washington, meeting with local businesses in Wisconsin or a trip to the Southern border to assess the immigration crisis. I send my newsletter weekly to ensure you receive important information in a timely manner. This transparency also helps me stay accountable to you, the voter.

In an effort to keep you even more connected to what is going on in Washington and the 6th district, I want to make sure you are aware of my social media accounts. I post updates on social media daily to make sure you know that I am constantly working for you. These daily updates include photos, videos and opinions that will let you know what I'm working on as it happens.

Weekly Roundup
At the Sheboygan Falls Business and Breakfast I had a hot cup of coffee and great conversation about the revitalization of Sheboygan Falls.

I was happy to speak with the kids and counselors at Camp Moshava in Wild Rose. It is important that our children learn about the history of Israel and its great relationship with the United States.

Glad I was able to speak with the Belgium Area Chamber of Commerce about issues in and around the community, such as improving education and fighting the opioid epidemic.

Wednesday was National Lighthouse Day. Wisconsin is home to many lakes, including about 90 miles of shoreline on Lake Michigan. Here are a few of the beautiful lighthouses found in the 6th district in Fond du Lac, Port Washington, Neenah and Two Rivers.

In case you missed it, Thursday was National Frozen Custard Day. The best part is, while August 8 was the official holiday, we can celebrate with a nice frozen custard any day of the year!
