Sergeant Ryan Croft will deploy with the Virginia Army National Guard

(Washington, D.C.) – Sgt. Ryan Croft, a Legislative Assistant in Congressman Glenn Grothman’s office (R-Glenbeulah), will deploy to the Middle East this month. Croft is taking a leave of absence to serve his country as a Sgt. in the Virginia Army National Guard 3rd Battalion, 116th Infantry Regiment, 116th Infantry Brigade Combat Team.

“Ryan is an essential part of our team, and we are sad to see him leave our office for a time, but I couldn’t be more proud of his service to our country,” said Congressman Grothman. “His deployment is a vivid reminder that so many great servicemen and women put their lives on the line so that we can enjoy the freedom of living in the greatest country in the world. Our office will be thinking of Ryan every day while he serves our country and look forward to welcoming him back when he returns home.”

Sgt. Croft added, “I am very thankful for Congressman Grothman’s unwavering support during this transition and look forward to working for the great people of the Sixth District again in the future.”
