VIDEO: Grothman Slams EPA Over Porn Addiction, Overregulating American Manufacturing
Washington,
April 30, 2015
(Washington, D.C.) Rep. Glenn Grothman (R-Wisconsin) took the Environmental Protection Agency to task for overregulating American small businesses and failing to hold the agency accountable for its employee’s gross misconduct. Congressman Grothman questioned Mr. Stanley Meiburg, the Acting Deputy Administrator of the EPA, during the Committee on Oversight and Government Reform’s hearing titled, “EPA Mismanagement.”
“There is no federal agency that is perceived to lack common sense more – and doing more to endanger the American economy – than the EPA,” Grothman said in his questioning. “Now this isn’t exactly the type of hearing that I thought I was signing up for when I ran for this job. I thought I was going to talk to the EPA about what your people are doing when they come up with these ridiculous ozone rules. Now we know what at least some of them are doing. Is it really true that some of these people were spending two to six hours a day watching porn?” The EPA Office of Inspector General has found cases of its own employees being paid by taxpayers to watch porn at work. EPA overregulation and gross mismanagement has been a consistent problem throughout President Obama’s tenure in the White House. “I tell you what I’m going to do for you,” Grothman said to the EPA’s Acting Deputy Administrator. “Next time I go back to my district and I tour my local manufacturers that are being threatened with their existence, and throwing all of their employees out, because of what the EPA is doing. I will ask them how many hours a week of porn they allow their employees to watch before they terminate them. I’ll get back to you on that.” Watch the full video HERE. U.S. Rep. Glenn Grothman is serving his first term representing Wisconsin’s 6th Congressional District in the U.S. House of Representatives.
