Grothman Condemns Palestinian Rocket AttacksCalls on President Obama, International Community To Support Israel
Washington,
June 8, 2015
(Washington, D.C.) - Rep. Glenn Grothman (R-Wisconsin) Monday called on President Obama to help protect one of America’s key allies, Israel, who came under rocket fire Saturday by Palestinians.
“The U.S.-Israeli relationship has never been as turbulent as it has been under President Obama,” said Congressman Grothman. “The President continues to ignore Israel, one of our most important allies, as they come under fire from jihadists with ties to the Islamic State. The international community continues to sit on the sidelines while our most important Middle Eastern ally comes under attack. The United States has a duty to protect its allies and President Obama is failing to do his job as the leader of the free world. The State Department should immediately issue a statement in support of Israel as it continues to face more attacks from radical Islamists. It is high time for the international community to end the double standard when it comes to attacks on Israel.” |
