Washington, January 23, 2019 | Tim Svoboda (2022252476)

Congressman Glenn Grothman (R-Glenbeulah) today announced that he will once again sit on the Oversight and Reform Committee in the 116th Congress.

“I look forward to continuing to represent the Sixth District on the increasingly prestigious Oversight and Reform Committee.” Said Grothman. “I am committed to ensuring our government works for the people in the most efficient way possible. I have a good relationship with returning members, such as incoming Chairman, Elijah Cummings (D-MD), and Ranking Member Jim Jordan (R-OH), and look forward to working with new members such as Congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY).

Last Congress, President Trump created a task force in each agency to identify excessive or duplicative regulations. These findings were brought before the Oversight Committee and were essential is shaping policy that has produced a thriving economy. I hope to build upon these successes and continue to utilize my position on this committee to protect the people from excessive government.”

“We welcome Congressman Glenn Grothman back to the Oversight committee. Our job is to find and defend the truth. I look forward to working with Rep. Grothman and each and every member of the committee to conduct serious fact-based oversight.” Said Ranking Member Jim Jordan.
