Do You Need Help?
As a your Representative, one of the most important things I do is help the people of Wisconsin's Sixth District with federal problems. Although I cannot override the decisions made by a federal agency, I can often intervene on a person's behalf to answer questions, find solutions or just cut through the bureaucratic red tape.

Below you will find a list of agencies that I am happy to help you with. You will also find a breakdown of the number and types of agency cases that my office has taken care of thus far in 2019.

If you are seeking help with an agency, I need a completed privacy authorization form to comply with the provisions of the Privacy Act. Please download this printable version of the privacy authorization form and then fax or mail to the address listed under the agency from which you are seeking assistance.

Town Halls
Thanks to everyone who came out to my town hall meetings this week in Waupun, Black Wolf and Eden. It was great to see all of you!

Hearing from citizens like you throughout the Sixth District is a vital and enjoyable part of my job. That is why I appreciate everyone who was able to make it. I hope to see you at one of my town hall meetings in the future.

Stay tuned into to my E-newsletter for updates on my next town hall meetings.

National Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony
On Christmas Eve in 1923, President Calvin Coolidge lit the first National Christmas Tree. Ninety-six years later, Americans from across the country will gather yet again for this annual tradition on December 5, 2019 at President's Park in Washington, D.C.

Each year, a nationwide lottery is held for citizens that would like tickets to the National Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony. This year, the lottery will open on October 15, 2019 at 9:00 a.m. Central Time. If you are interested in attending this time-honored American tradition, I invite you to enter the lottery by clicking here or on the picture below. I wish you the best of luck and hope that you'll stop by my office if you make the trip to Washington, D.C.!

Weekly Roundup
Thanks to the Wisconsin members of the U.S. Global Leadership Coalition who came by my Fond du Lac office to discuss the United States’ role in global development and diplomacy.

Cheese curds, cheese sticks, string cheese, cream cheese, sliced cheese, cubed cheese, wheel of cheese, nacho cheese, grilled cheese, mac and cheese, cheese pizza, cheese burger, cheese dip, cheese puffs, cheese cake…that’s, that’s about it. Happy American Cheese Month!

Thanks to the Congregation of Sisters of St. Agnes for holding a roundtable meeting to discuss immigration and how we can work together to secure the border, while making sure immigrants come to America safely and legally.

It was great to meet all of the first responders who came out to celebrate the 150th anniversary of the Ripon Fire Department.

I hope all of my Jewish friends and neighbors had an easy and meaningful fast on Yom Kippur.
