Congressman Glenn Grothman (R-Glenbeulah) today released the following statement applauding President Trump’s executive action to expand apprenticeship programs:

“I’ve been approached by manufacturers, small business owners and other professionals in Wisconsin’s Sixth District asking me to help fix the skills gap that currently exists in our workforce -- employers in construction, manufacturing and health care are desperately in need of skilled employees.

“Today’s executive action by President Trump expanding our country’s apprenticeship program proves that the White House is willing to work with House Republicans to increase technical and vocational training, which will help fill vacant jobs and drive our economy.”
