Congressman Glenn Grothman (R-Glenbeulah), in his capacity as a member of the House Committee on Education and the Workforce, is excited to welcome Lakeshore Technical College (LTC) to Washington, D.C. for the committee’s “Innovation Forum and Showcase”. LTC President, Dr. Paul Carlsen, will present oral testimony to the committee on an incumbent worker training model called MicroMatch Upskilling, a unique combination of skills-based aptitude testing with a series of short-term training seminars focused on robotics. In addition to preparing students for a career in the skilled workforce, LTC prides itself in creating fresh ways to address the skilled labor shortage right now.
