Since January 2021, inflation has soared over 14 percent, hitting 40-year highs, and wages are down by nearly 4 percent. The culprit for creating economic hardship for hardworking Americans is unchecked government spending.

I'm eager and willing to work with the Biden Administration to implement economic policies to drive job growth and protect employees' financial security in Wisconsin. But, finding common ground to institute responsible budget cuts is the necessary first step to fight inflation and put an end to Washington's habit of wasteful spending.

February is Career and Technical Education Month (CTE), which provides an opportunity to shine a light on the benefits of career and technical education to younger Americans. As a member of the House Committee on Education and the Workforce, it’s my priority to highlight the benefits of CTE to help expose young Wisconsinites to lucrative, sustainable career paths that employers are eager to fill.
